I am a freelance web designer in South Florida who enjoys the comtemplative life.  I am an avid surfer, and have recently started Tai Chi classes for some movement to my meditation.  Other interests include reading pop science, sci-fi, spirituality, self help, philosophy and computer books.  Looking for like minded people to engage in conversation or activities, anywhere but especially in my area.  I am not an online chatter, would rather get away from the monitor, as I am on the net for work purposes all the time.  Ideal time would be somewhere in nature with some good company or a book, or at the beach on a wave day.

I am currently taking classes for my MCSE certification, and would like to continue learning computer networks and programming, although I am contemplating going back to university to study neuroscience.

I have always been interested in that cusp where science, consciousness, and spirituality meet, and I am intrigued by those who swim in both ponds, people like William Tiller of Bleep fame, and Dean Radin, among many others.  I picked up one of Tiller's books about a year ago, and the math is way over my head.  Anyone who feels they understand his work and can explain it in layman's terms please email me asap.
